What this service covers

Our mobile DPF diagnostic covers the basics that actually matter: reading fault codes from your vehicle's ECU, checking the soot load and ash accumulation level, and looking at related sensors, pressure differential, temperature, and exhaust flow, that affect how the DPF performs. If the data tells us a chemical flush will fix the problem, we'll say so. If it points somewhere else, a faulty sensor, a regeneration issue, or a problem that cleaning won't resolve, we'll tell you that too.

The diagnostic is free. No call-out charge, no obligation. If you go ahead with the clean, it's £275 fixed. If you don't, you've lost nothing except a bit of time.

What does a DPF diagnostic include?
We read fault codes from your vehicle's ECU, check the current soot load and ash level in your DPF, and inspect related sensors including the differential pressure sensor, exhaust temperature sensors, and airflow. This gives us a clear picture of whether the DPF itself is the problem, or whether something else is causing the warning light.
Is the diagnostic really free?
Yes, completely. There is no call-out charge and no obligation to proceed with a clean. If you decide you want the clean after the diagnostic, the cost is £275. If you decide not to go ahead, or if we advise against it, you pay nothing.
What if cleaning won't fix my DPF?
We will tell you clearly what we found and what we think the right course of action is. If the issue is a faulty pressure sensor, a blocked EGR, a regeneration fault, or anything else that a DPF clean won't address, we would rather you know that upfront than spend £275 on something that won't solve it. We can point you in the right direction even if the fix is outside what we do.
How long does the diagnosis take?
The diagnostic itself typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes on site. We come to your home or workplace, so there's no need to arrange a garage drop-off or wait around. If you go ahead with the clean on the same visit, the full job, diagnostic and chemical flush, usually takes two to three hours in total.
